Welcome back to my blog. Everything seems to be adjusting in our life now. The house looks more like a house (since we moved only 2 weeks ago) and my pregnancy is “maturing”, therefore, I feel it’s real now. At first it only seemed like an illusion, but now the whole new baby idea it’s sinking. I’m kinda freaking out! So, about this week
How far along? 11 weeks
Baby’s size: he/she is the size of a large strawberry
This week’s video: Week 11
Total weight gained: -6lbs
Sleep: sleeping better, but still having crazy dreams. I do need a nap to function. I’m ready for the first semester to be over and feel less sleepy all the time!
Best moment of the week: we got Disney+ and, let me tell you, it’s totally worth it! I’m getting to watch the movies I watched as a kid with my son!
Movement: nothing yet!!! I know it’s there, but still can’t feel it
Food cravings: About 3 times a week, I squeeze 2 lemons and drink the juice. I know it’s weird, but I feel like my body craves it. I also consume tangerines all day long.
Food aversions: Still meat and peanut butter. I’ve also realized I can’t stand hummus (which I normally love)
Symptoms. Breasts tenderness: it’s gone (finally)! Morning sickness: Still having issues. I can’t eat in the afternoons. Some nights, I kind of force myself to eat at night, because I need it, but not because I want to. Back pain: my back has been killing me lately, but I don’t think it’s because of the pregnancy itself. I’ve been eating gluten again and all the pains are back (perfect!). I wrote Essential Oils for the First Trimester that have some tricks that are helping me feel better during this stage of the pregnancy
Gender: Still don’t know
What I’m looking forward to: Thanksgiving!
What I miss: being able to lay on the floor facing down. I know it’s something so common, but starting this week, it doesn’t feel comfortable anymore
Next appointment: December 11th
